About the Role
Paragon Talent is supporting an innovative and growing ingredients business as they look to appoint a Sales Representative to drive commercial growth across Mexico.
This is a strong opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional with experience in the food ingredients, flavour, or sweetener markets, who enjoys building customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and working in a technical, solutions-led environment.
The successful candidate will manage and grow a regional portfolio of accounts, win new business, and work closely with customers across procurement, R&D, marketing, and management functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of customer accounts across Mexico
- Identify and win new business opportunities
- Build strong relationships across customer organisations
- Deliver sales presentations and support commercial negotiations
- Develop account plans aligned to customer growth objectives
- Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and CRM reporting
- Work cross-functionally to support product development and customer solutions
- Attend trade shows and represent the business professionally in the market
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Business, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience
- Proven track record selling into food manufacturers/processors
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Technical understanding of sweetener formulation
- Strong presentation, planning, and problem-solving ability
- Experience using CRM systems effectively
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Must be based in Mexico
