About the Role
Paragon Talent is partnering with an innovative and fast-growing business operating at the forefront of sustainable ingredient innovation, as they look to appoint a Regional Sales Manager to lead growth across the West Coast of the US.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial professional to join a business developing high-value ingredient solutions for the market, with a strong focus on innovation, technical credibility, and long-term growth.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will be responsible for developing business across the region, managing customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and helping drive overall sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth across the US, with a major focus on the West Coast territory
- Develop new business and strengthen existing customer relationships
- Build relationships across technical, commercial, marketing, and supply chain functions
- Deliver sales presentations, proposals, and technical discussions
- Monitor market trends, customer activity, and industry developments
- Attend trade shows and industry events
- Manage pipeline activity, forecasting, and CRM reporting
- Share customer feedback internally to support product and commercial strategy
What We’re Looking For
- 7–10+ years’ sales experience in the flavor, functional ingredient, or sweetener markets
- Strong technical understanding of sweetener formulation
- A degree in Food Science, technical, or business discipline
- Proven ability to win business and grow commercial relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, technical, solutions-led environment
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
