About the Role
We’re working with an established and highly respected international ingredients business to appoint a Sales Executive focused on the US beverage market.
This is a key commercial hire, responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of accounts while also identifying and winning new business across the territory. The role offers the chance to take ownership of a meaningful customer base, with a strong mix of strategic account management and new business development.
The successful person will work across a portfolio of natural ingredient solutions for beverage applications, supporting customers ranging from major beverage brands through to regional and private label manufacturers.

The Role
As Sales Executive, you will be responsible for managing an established portfolio of approximately 20–25 customer accounts, including a number of larger strategic relationships, while also driving growth through new business activity.
The role will involve selling ingredient solutions into beverage and selected food accounts, with a particular focus on growing share within existing customers and building pipeline across target accounts in the region.
You will work closely with internal technical and commercial teams to ensure customers receive the right support across development, service, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow an existing portfolio of beverage and food-related customer accounts
- Protect and develop a current revenue base of approximately $10m–$15m
- Build new business pipeline across beverage brands, private label manufacturers, and related customers
- Develop relationships across procurement, commercial, R&D, innovation, and operations teams
- Identify opportunities to expand product penetration within existing accounts
- Lead customer meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through to project close and ongoing account development
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams including technical, regulatory, customer service, planning, and operations
- Maintain regular reporting on customer activity, pipeline progression, and market developments
- Support profitable growth through strong commercial judgement and account planning
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a commercially capable sales professional with relevant experience in beverage ingredients, food ingredients, or closely aligned natural ingredient markets.
This role is likely to suit someone who combines strong account management ability with the drive and curiosity to uncover and convert new opportunities.
Experience Required
- Around 5+ years’ sales experience within ingredients, food, or beverage-related markets
- Proven background in account management and business development
- Experience selling into beverage customers, ideally across medium to large branded or private label accounts
- Strong understanding of the commercial sales process, from prospecting and development through to project win and growth
- Ability to engage both technical and commercial stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple accounts and priorities across a regional territory
- Strong knowledge of ingredients used in beverage or food applications
