About the Role
Paragon Talent is working with a growing international supplier of Flavours and Ingredients, with an expanding portfolio that includes Juices, Concentrates, and Purees. Their success is built on long-standing customer relationships, a commitment to service, and strong collaboration between our UK team and colleagues at their German HQ.
As they expand and grow in the UK, they are looking for a Business Support Manager to join their team, someone who thrives in a role that blends customer service, supply chain coordination, and sales support with opportunities to develop into more active sales responsibilities.
The Role
The Business Support Manager is a key link between their UK customer base, their local Key Account team, and the wider European business. You’ll play a central role in customer communication, order management, quotations, and master data maintenance, while also helping to develop and grow product portfolios in close collaboration with colleagues across Sales, Supply Chain, and Product Management.
This is a hybrid position based out of a Bishop’s Stortford office, offering the chance to build your career within an established yet ambitious international business.
What You’ll Do
- Act as the first point of contact for UK customers, by phone, email, and Teams.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, contracts, and pricing inquiries.
- Enter and manage orders, including adjustments, modifications, and cancellations.
- Monitor order volumes and coordinate supplies within the UK territory.
- Maintain accurate customer and product master data in ERP and CRM systems.
- Handle complaints, issue credit notes, and ensure smooth resolution with customers.
- Support the development of a defined product portfolio, analysing customer and market needs.
- Collaborate closely with UK colleagues and German headquarters to deliver excellent service.
- Proactively contact existing and dormant customers to explore sales opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
Must have:
- Experience in supply chain management in a B2B environment.
- A background in customer service/order management.
- Confident communicator with excellent telephone skills.
- Ability to balance support/admin work with proactive sales activities.
- Highly organized, accurate, and detail oriented.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%).
- Fluent in English (German a plus).
Nice to have:
- B2B sales experience.
- Knowledge of food ingredients or food/beverage industry.
